Overview

Reed Hammersmith are delighted to be recruiting for a fantastic opportunity in merchandising for a leading global retailer. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow and gain head office experience with a large global brand. This is a 6 month part time opportunity working Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm. Types of tasks include: Planogrammes -reviewing position of products at space and shade level; ensure they are in the right positioning and right order as per the brief Graphics – ensuring they are matching the brief and checking against the chart if they have not expired Barcodes – creating barcodes with a software for multiple product to put in excel format Line list/product list – comparing, checking and amending the Excel files vs planogramme to ensure products are in the right order with correct facings Amend excel files showing changes in term of facings or stock of a products; adding new product and remove discon products Producing Instructions – read and check documents, spelling, information based on a clear brief Competitor Reports- creating reports from store visits from stand or hot spot issues and monitoring competitor activities and different retailers; capturing meetings notes from various meetings; capturing all promo Artwork & load up – support line manager in checking load up vs brief, artwork vs brief, spelling, prices vs retail brief What we need from you: Excellent attention to details Good communication skills Confident outlook and Excel user
