Job Description

Square Enix is looking for a dedicated and organised Operations Coordinator to oversee the day to day operational tasks in the Merchandise division. You will be coordinating a range of tasks and assisting with the smooth running of the Merchandise business. We are looking for a proactive individual with a positive attitude, who is able to work within Merchandise team, supporting operational tasks. Key Deliverables E-commerce * Setting up new products on the website, ensuring accurate optimised features, categories, and pricing. * Working together with in house Digital team, producing content for the weekly newsletter promotions and being custodian of the Square Enix tone of voice. * Ensuring the appropriate merchandising of both products and promotions across all platforms. * Responsible for maintaining the Square Enix brand personality throughout our promotions, balancing the commercial attributes and storytelling through both copy and imagery. * Preparing the weekly homepage VM relating to different campaigns under the direction of the E-Commerce Manager. * Working closely with the E-Commerce Manager and other departments to ensure Merchandise Ecommerce activities are aligned with the general marketing calendars on a weekly basis. * Testing potential site errors both on mobile and desktop; communicating them both to the E-Commerce manager. * Coordinate with in-house and outsourced customer service team, manage customer enquiries for merchandise products and maintain high level of customer satisfaction. Logistics and Operations * Arrange and control regular fixed and standard transport requests from factory / warehouse in Asia to meet the required service level. * Liaise with multiple transport providers and achieve expected operational margin at shipment level. * Track shipments and provide feedback to the team and related stakeholders. * Completing general administration tasks and data entry accurately and efficiently. * Ensure that financial related costing, invoicing, and reporting for freight is carried out in accordance with company standards. * Optimise stock availability, whilst minimising costs of transport and storage. * Ensure all costs are controlled adequately and in line with budget; identify opportunities to reduce costs. * Provide administrative support for the operational tasks to the team. Additional ad hoc duties may be assigned. Requirements * Ideally with 3 years experience in a similar, ecommerce or logistics operational focused role. * Good editing skills of content, both product pictures and regular imaginary. * Good Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookup,). * Exceptional problem solving & analytical skills. * Results driven, with proven record of successful implementations. * Highly organised with the ability to organise workload. * A dynamic person with a versatile approach to the modern world. * Excellent English communication skills Verbal and Written. Desirable * Knowledge and a passion for gaming, art, and culture. * Graphic design skills and good use of Adobe Creative Suit. * Understanding of digital sensibilities - best practices for social, and email campaigns.
