Reinsurance Claims Technician, London, Immediate start Your new company Is a well-known mid-sized Insurance Brokerage that employs over 1300 people worldwide, this role is based in the City of London within their head office. Your new role As a Claims Reinsurance Technician, you will be involved in: Providing timely, efficient and high quality claims support within the technical department, to ensure smooth transactions of the broker's claims related matter in order to satisfy clients and underwriters needs. Providing timely, efficient and high quality binder & treaty processing within the technical department, in order to satisfy clients and underwriters needs. Delivering (where necessary) timely, efficient and high quality technical support within the company, to ensure the smooth transaction of the broker's business in order to satisfy client and underwriters needs. Assisting the Broking Team in administrating, processing & filing of new and renewal business. What you'll need to succeed You will need a good understanding of claims management within the Lloyd's Insurance markets. First notification of loss (FNOL)You will have experience of working from first settlement of loss A working knowledge of reinsurance principles Ability to think laterally and solve problems Needs to be highly organised, attention to detail, methodically and professional in their approach to day to day work Systems knowledge, ECF or IMR What you'll get in return This is a great opportunity to work for an international wholesale and reinsurance Lloyd's Broker based in the heart of the insurance market.
