Quality Supervisor Harvey McQueen are extremely pleased to be recruiting for our clients based in Bristol. They are looking for an experienced quality supervisor; this is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within this industry. Responsibilities · Day to day responsibility for all aspects of Quality at the site · Flow down the requirements of the company Quality Management System & AS9100/9120 to all employees and advise on any relating queries · Liaise directly with customer quality representatives with weekly meetings, reporting of action taken etc · Implement continuous improvement to improve production processes in conjunction with the Operations Management Team · Provide support to Operations & Sales for quality related issues · Support machine shop queries, having knowledge of drawings and machining · Provide a source of knowledge to other employees with regard to Quality related matters. · Action internal quality audits as directed by the Group Quality Manager · Arrange for all measuring equipment to be calibrated at specified intervals · Follow Corrective Action (8D) Reports through to conclusion employing lean methodology where appropriate · Ensure latest issues of Quality documentation are used · Assist line managers to set up and maintain Training Records for all branch employees · Knowledge of MRB, SQCDP & Quality tools an advantage · Fully IT literate · Action Customer complaints / supplier rejections on the company SharePoint system · Assist warehouse personnel with identification and traceability issues and inspection of potentially non-conforming material · Assist in export licencing requirements · Other duties as delegated by the Group Quality Manager Pay Benefits and Hours of work · Working Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm with 1 hour lunch · Salary 25k negotiable · Full time, permanent role · Free parking · Pension · Bonus schemes, attendance and profit sharing This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89890724
