A Primary School located in Waltham Forest, London are seeking 2 general primary teaching assistants to join them as soon as possible or after the Easter Holidays. This is a full time role on a long term contract until July 2020. Primary Teaching Assistant General Teaching Assistant role - EYFS/ KS1 Full time - Monday to Friday Long term contract until July 2020 £65-£90 per day Immediate/ April Start Waltham Forest, London Excellent education and training opportunities Local to tube & over ground stations This is a suitable role for either a graduate who is ready to start their career in education and would like to gain experience as a Teaching Assistant OR an experienced Teaching Assistant who is wanting to develop their skills and experience. For this Primary Teaching Assistant role you will be working with the Assistant Headteacher in their class as a general Teaching Assistant. You will be well supported and offered a great experience to learn and work towards becoming a primary teacher if that's what you are aiming for The ideal primary teaching assistant would ideally have some experience working with children in either a school, childminding or tutoring capacity. The Primary Teaching Assistant Role: You will support in EYFS/ KS1 as a teaching assistant working closely with the class teacher Build strong relationships with pupils, teachers and parents Prepare the classrooms ready for lessons Help teachers prepare lessons materials Leading classes with the supervision form the teacher Taking observations on childrens progress in lessons Work in small groups delivering interventions You must hold wither a teaching assistant qualification or have a degree and have a passion of working with children.
