Overview
My client is a very successful and well-respected mortgage specialist, whose innovative approach ensures a fresh look at property finance in a challenging environment, with access to over 7,000 mortgage products from more than 60 lenders. They are looking to recruit a Mortgage Consultant to join their broker team to be based in their Crystal Palace office. They are specialists in not only first-time buyer and standard residential mortgages but also: Help to Buy Remortgages Buy to Let Commercial and Land Equity Release Product transfers Main duties of the role: To work individually to exceed your personal targets, as well as supporting your team. To actively work with your lead source to obtain referrals and maximise new business. To be pro-active in achieving leads and new business where not referred by the agency staff. Adhere to compliance rules and maintain a high standard acceptable to the Financial Conduct Authority. Maintain a positive, energetic and engaging demeanour when dealing with clients and agency staff. The ideal candidate will be: Customer focused - understand the importance of making a fantastic first impression. Be a strong representative for the company brand. Personable, professional and friendly. Knowledgeable - be confident in providing high quality advice, service and professionalism. Success-driven, passionate and motivated. Required skills and Experience: CeMAP qualified. Be able to commit to working hours of Monday to Friday, 8.45 am - 6.00pm (Thursdays until 7.00pm), and ALTERNATE Saturdays (10.00-4.00pm). Be within a 1-hour commute time of our offices in Crystal Palace. What the company provides: Continuous and ongoing training and support. Generous commission structure with uncapped commission. Base salary of circa £30,000 OTE - £55,000 per annum Regular company events.
