Job Description
Our client is a leading and respected London IFA firm who are now looking for an employed mortgage and protection adviser to join their team. Package as follows: * Basic PAYE Salary: £25,000 * Fee & Commission split on PAID business: * First £100,000 - 15% * £100,001-£200,000 - 20% * £200,001-£300,000 - 25% * £300,001-£400,000 - 30% * £400,001-£500,000 - 35% * Exams paid for - CPD expected from ALL employees * Virgin Active Gym membership * 2 X Pensions (AE scheme plus a non-contributory SIPP with investments managed by us) * Vitality Health Private Medical Insurance - includes travel and dental * High quality administrative support provided They also split fees on referrals to the financial planners from the mortgage desk for any successful pension, investment or tax planning business at the same commission rates above. A £200K pension transfer typically generates a fee for the mortgage broker of £1200 (£200K X 3% X 20%). Brokers that really take this on board with 2 referrals a month can easily increase income by £30K pa. In terms of sources of the mortgage business for the broker to advise on: * The successful candidate will receive referrals from 3 financial planners * Existing client bank previously serviced by another broker * Web enquiries - we generate our own * Paid for leads - they are prepared to buy leads also The ideal candidate: * Must fit in with small family feel business (12 current employees) * Must have a strong work ethic and be committed to the firm * Must be professional and presentable * Must have a sense of urgency and be able to take initiative * Will ideally have a bank of existing clients from previous roles that can be approached * Will be advising on and successfully signing up client for the relevant insurances (life, CIC, B&C, IPP etc.) * Will understand and grasp the opportunity to refer pension and investment business to the firm We are looking for someone who is keen to join a very well thought of City-based Chartered firm and seeking a long term position.
