Overview
Applications are now open for an AAT qualified or active studier looking for a trainee accounting role to put all that hard earned theoretical knowledge into practice by joining an established accountancy firm. Based in Heathfield (East Sussex), you will work with experienced members of the team as well as partners to kick start your accountancy career and start to build your experience. If you have exams left to take, the firm will support you through the remainder of the AAT qualification whilst working in a broad and varied role across accounts preparation, bookkeeping and tax while complementing your studies perfectly. Accountancy is a people-focused profession so although numeracy is expected, you should also be able to demonstrate that you will be able to communicate confidently with colleagues and clients and will be able to organise yourself and your workload. About you AAT qualified or actively studying Good grades throughout your education demonstrating consistent academic achievement First class communication, written and presentation skills Be committed and focused on a career within the accountancy profession Enjoy working in a collaborative, supportive and challenging environment Be resilient and confident demonstrating composure under pressure whilst working to deadlines The salary advertised should be seen as a guide and will be based on your experience and qualifications.
