Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is seeking to appoint an Apprentice Accountant to work within its Financial Services Division. The role will provide a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced members of staff, develop accountancy knowledge and skills that will complement professional development and play an important part in supporting the delivery of high quality accountancy support services. The Accountancy Service is looking for a motivated and well-organised individual who has excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and is a real team player. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, gaining job-specific knowledge and skills. This is a fixed term post for a two-year period and will start in September 2020. You will be paid National Minimum Wage dependent on age: * 25 & over 8.72 21-24 8.20 * 18 - 20 6.45 Under 18 4.55 Due to the Apprenticeship entry criteria, applications cannot be accepted from any applicant who has already gained a similar qualification at level 3 or above in the role applied for. For example, if you have a degree in Civil Engineering you will not be eligible to apply for a Civil Engineering apprenticeship post. However, you could apply for any other apprenticeship post.
