Overview
Victoria Transport, Garage & Car Sales. Part-time (flexible hours) or full time bookkeeper to join our busy transport, garage & car sales business based in Macduff. Duties of the Bookkeeper: • Sales Ledger: Creating and sending out monthly sales invoices, customer statements, posting receipts, and credit control • Purchase Ledger: Checking and authorising Pods, approving, recording and paying, purchases invoices and statement reconciliations • Company credit cards: Checking and posting • Bank: Carry out daily postings and reconciliation’s • Car Sales: Record all purchase, sales and transactions and reconcile for VAT purposes • Other duties: Prepare quarterly VAT returns, year-end liaison with external accountant and ad hoc financial administration. Skills and experience required for this Bookkeeper role: • Bookkeeping skills up to trial balance • Good knowledge of Sage 50 accounting package • Excel & Access will be an advantage. • They will be reliable, thorough with excellent attention to detail.
