Job Description

Our client is looking to recruit an accountancy practice experienced Bookkeeper to work in their busy office on a full time basis. (part time may be considered) Job Description * Daily usage of financial processes, enhancing and updating where needed * Management of sales ledger * Maintaining accounts, verifying and posting transactions * Balancing accounts on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis * Recording client assets and handling investments * Managing client invoices & payments * Liaising with clients, suppliers and banking contacts * VAT return preparation and submission * Light credit control * Preparing schedules, statements and reports as requested * Managing & filing relevant documentation Person Specification * Great organisational skills * Analytical skills * An inquisitive mind with an ability to investigate and solve problems effectively * Strong excel skills * A drive to improve finance processes fit for the future * A real team spirit and an ability to build relationships with other teams
