Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to join a fast growing contemporary lifestyle brand based in Bracknell. You will be part of their busy Accounts Team responsible for maintaining the Company's financial records. We are looking for an enthusiastic, approachable and well organised professional person with a positive attitude and an excellent numerical aptitude. Key Responsibilities will include: * Processing customer related transactions e.g. invoices, refunds, receipts etc. * Processing supplier related transactions e.g. invoices, credits, payments etc. * Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers ensuring customer and supplier settlement on time. * Processing merchant account, credit card, petty cash and customer finance transactions and reconciling control accounts. * Preparing and actioning daily and monthly bank account reconciliations. * Processing and reconciling employee related transactions * Processing stock order transactions. * Preparing accounts analysis and processing approved journals/adjustments. * Assisting in the month-end and year-end procedures. * Dealing with customer or supplier accounts queries. * Other ad hoc duties as may be required. And you'll have the following experience: * Strong and demonstrable Bookkeeping/Finance Administration experience. * Finance/Accounting qualifications relevant to the role. * Significant experience of using accounting software. * Knowledge and experience of ERP systems will also be a strong advantage, as we adapt and change our current systems in line with the growing business. * Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including strong Excel skills. * Previous experience of working with foreign exchange transactions. * Good understanding of VAT accounting. * Experience of working with an online retail business would be an advantage.
