Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper Maidenhead, circa £25,000, part time possibility A uniquely interesting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper near Maidenhead. Working for a multiple locationproperty and business solutions group based in the picturesque village of Bray right next to the River Thames, this opportunity brings together a flexible, varied and rewarding role in a serene location. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to join a supportive close-knit team. You’ll be an enthusiastic individual looking for a busy role which you can really get your teeth into. You’ll be self-motivated and a qualified bookkeeper with strong recent experience of Sage 50. You’ll work closely with our client’s external accountant (who will produce audited accounts) and will produce monthly reports and bank reconciliations, you’ll also run the payroll for our client’s small team. This role will require the flexibility and adaptability that small teams inevitably need, but in return we can offer a good base salary, part time hours (at least 3 - 4 days per week,) a supportive team and a very varied role - our client hosts and owns multiple businesses within their premises (including a successful events business) and so their activities are varied and very interesting In addition to being a qualified bookkeeper our ideal candidate will have a forensic attention to detail and excellent communication skills. We are also looking for good MS office skills and, ideally, advanced Excel. Our ideal candidate: has relevant professional qualification accredited by the ICB has 3 years in a similar role is fully conversant with Sage 50 has purchase and sales ledger experience has payroll & expenses experience has prepared bank reconciliations & quarterly VAT returns and assisted on management reports lives locally to Maidenhead (Bray) and has own transportation
