Overview
Financial Reporting Actuary Permanent £65k North-West Lynx Recruitment is currently assisting a leading life insurer in the North-West to find a Financial Reporting Actuary who will support the reporting requirements of the business. There is also the opportunity to get involved in other projects including IFRS17. Key responsibilities: Manage actuarial reporting processes Review and understand actuarial reporting content from UK-based actuarial outsourcers Review and understand actuarial reporting content from the group’s overseas divisions, providing support to the Group Reporting and Development Actuary as required Support senior management in the quarterly production of UK & group solvency and financial results. Solvency forecasts, movement analysis Scope for involvement in emerging IFRS 17 developments. Key Experience: Qualified actuary with a proven track record in the life insurance sector Able to forge strong and influential relationships with the divisional actuarial teams Possess strong IT skills including, but not limited to, spreadsheet and word processing software Process development experience Ability to link financial analysis to the commercial and regulatory implications If you are interested in this opportunity, or know anyone who might be, then please let me know as soon as possible.
