Overview
Financial Controller Based: Chorley/Euxton area Salary: Dependent on experience. Progressive role working closely with Finance Director Our client is a UK leader in their industry, supplying high end products across the UK and Europe. A growing SME, they are looking for a commercially focused Financial Controller to join the team working closely with the Finance Director. We are looking for a driven individual who will bring in new ideas and change to the department Role: Managing finance department including staff management , implementing new systems/procedures and ensuring policies are adhered to Performance appraisals, training and development for team and implementing training programmes Production of end to end Management Accounts and MI packs for senior stakeholders - full commentary and analysis highlighting topical areas Overseeing preparation of financial and strategic business KPI's Preparing annual budget, forecasting, cash-flow reporting and periodic reviews Ownership of sales and margin analysis, commentary on trends and variances Managing external relationships including auditors, banks, invoice finance facility Constantly reviewing business costs and improving efficiencies to mitigate those Assisting with system changes, development and upgrade projects as they arise Experience: ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualified (5 years post qual) Strong commercial acumen and experience from a commercially focused role Comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and strong communication skills If you match the above criteria and looking to work in an exciting business please send your CV to be considered
