Partner Designate job in Norwich, Norfolk for an ACCA/ACA qualified accountant with extensive experience of working in a senior capacity within a public practice accountancy firm. We are working with one of the leading accountancy firms in Norwich to appoint a Partner Designate to work in one of their multiple offices across East Anglia. This is an ideal opportunity for an accountancy professional who would like to progress through to Salaried Partner level. The Partner Designate Job will involve looking after a and developing a large SME portfolio. This is a varied and versatile role. As the successful candidate, you will be overseeing and leading the full provision of the firm’s services to their own portfolio. Audit experience is desired but not essential and not necessarily a requirement of the role. Are you tired of a lack of progression at your current Practice? If you are a Senior Manager or Partner Designate with exceptional business acumen, communication and management skills together with a broad technical background then this role would be an ideal challenge. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ post qualified experience gained within a practice environment where you have worked with a varied portfolio of SME’s and High Net Worth Individuals. You will be capable of training and motivating a sizeable team to exceed client service expectations, as well as ensuring the profitability of the department. The main responsibilities for this Partner Designate Job in Norwich include: Significantly enhancing the quality of work and ensuring consistency in approach across offices Developing the team Hiring new trainees and delivering appropriate training Taking on the role of regulatory counsellor for trainees Developing your client portfolio Attracting new clients to the firm Taking an active part in business development events and projects Building enduring relationships with clients and staff Involvement in ad-hoc projects such as preparing financial projections The perfect Partner Designate will be ACCA/ACA qualified with circa 10 years’ experience of working in a public practice accountancy firm.
