Overview

Are you an experienced Facilities Coordinator? You will be highly organised with excellent accuracy and attention to detail, with experience of planning and prioritising your workload? We now have an opportunity for a ‘hands on’ Soft Facilities Coordinator within a small busy team environment situated front of house within a Soft Facilities Department. You will be dealing directly with staff, visitors, suppliers and contractors professionally on a regular basis. Your responsibilities include: Daily re-configuring of meeting and conference room layouts; Setting up facilities in support of in-house company events; Carrying out office moves and changes; Stocking kitchenettes throughout the buildings; Maintaining the supply and storage of maintenance spares; Acting as local contact for contractors and temporary staff involved in facilities/project work. The role is centred around hands on activities but also involves dealing with contracted supplies and services, including, kitchenette supplies, stationery, mobile phones, vending, confidential waste, window/door maintenance, minor building works, landscaping, decorating, pest control, water coolers and window cleaning. You will also provide support for all general department activities including help desk enquiries, meeting room bookings, filing, placing orders and Access Control administration. About You You will be able to undertake significant and regular manual handling tasks safely. You will be customer focussed, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be a have good grades at GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths. You will have gained direct work experience from within an in-house or contracted facilities management environment. You will have practical ‘hands on’ knowledge including, building maintenance and configuring office furniture and equipment. You will also demonstrate a good level of knowledge IT literacy including familiarity with MS office and use of e-mail.
