Overview

The Finance Assistant will report into the Financial Controller and work closely with the Financial Accountant. This is a varied role with the potential for progression. Day to day activities include: Check and enter purchase invoices Add stock to the accounts system Check staff expenses Prepare customer statements and reports Process payments payable and receivable Prepare bank and cash reconciliations Credit management/support debt collection Order office supplies General office administration Assist with preparation of accruals, prepayments and month end journals Assist with telephone and email enquiries There will be an opportunity to assist in the preparation of management accounts, forecasts and other ad hoc projects. This role will suit a proactive candidate with a positive attitude and ability to grow in the role.
