Within our Human Resources specialism, we have a commitment to growing our Human Resources team in Ebury Gate who specialise in recruiting skilled Human Resources professionals across the public sector in London. To achieve this growth, we are looking to appoint a driven and motivated Associate Recruitment Consultant to work alongside a successful and highly experienced team, who have delivered positive results, period on period. Your new role: Recruitment is fast-paced and dynamic, every day you'll make a lasting impact. Hays is well established within Human Resources and you will utilise this reputation to lead from the front in winning business from new clients whilst growing existing client relationships. You will quickly develop expertise in your specialist market by advertising roles, meeting with clients and candidates, networking in your industry sector and utilising our market leading database. You will be expected to deliver and exceed KPI's and targets on a monthly basis by bringing together both candidates and clients to meet their requirements. The Human Resources team has an ongoing relationship with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), which means you will be provided with invaluable insight into the Human Resources Market. Using this, you will advise senior stakeholders on market trends, resourcing strategies and talent planning, which will enable you to develop professional relationships and raise Hays' profile across the market. In a skill short market, you must demonstrate innovative ways of attracting the best Human Resources talent and providing an outstanding service in introducing them to suitable employers, managing the candidate experience from initial contact through to appointment and aftercare. What you'll need to succeed: You will have excellent sales skills and a proven track record of success in either previous employment or Education. There's not one typical person that makes a good recruiter. We've got people from all kinds of backgrounds - retail, sales professionals, ex-tradespeople, graduates, etc. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, credibility and drive to build relationships with your clients and candidates. To succeed, you will need to demonstrate that you are results-focused and possess an ambitious drive to succeed in a competitive and fast paced environment. Although not essential, it will be beneficial for you to have an interest or awareness of Human Resources within the public sector. Your clients and candidates will be highly skilled, passionate about the work that they do and are at the very centre of some of the most important projects in the UK. In order to succeed, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, show attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Recruitment is hard work and it takes time and perseverance to achieve results, so resilience, persistence and determination are key. You need to be passionate about people, proactive and confident.
