Overview
Transport Coordinator Up to £28,500 4 on 4 off (start times vary) Swansea Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Coordinator for a leading manufacturer in the Swansea area. You will have a proven track record of successfully managing logistics and will be a critical part of the transport team. Key Responsibilities • To take full accountability of planning, managing people related activities such as holiday booking, shift assignment, absence management and any other people related responsibility for the assigned group. • To take full driver responsibilities to cover all routes within assigned group to cover holidays/sickness etc. • Conducting and auditing vehicle defect reports. • Managing people related activities which involves conducting return to work meetings, absence meeting and acting as an investigating manager for any allegation of misconduct. • Management of holiday bookings within an assigned group of drivers. • When driving a company vehicle, you must adhere to all Road Traffic Acts and ensure safe transportation of all company products. • May be required to undertake Delivering/Shunting in company vehicles dependant on company demand. • Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the site transport office. Experience Required • Able to work under a pressured environment. • Excellent communication skills. • Understanding of In-House Systems and Procedures. • Able to work to and meet deadlines. • Speed, accuracy and attention to detail. • Good customer service skills. • Class 1 license (minimum 1 years' experience) This is a highly professional role where you will be a key member of the team.
