Overview
Multi-site Engineering Group who's Supply Chain Manager retires later this year. The role will be to pick up the role plus help develop their MRP system. Responsibilities: Maintaining customer relationships with all suppliers assigned to personal responsibility, working to achieve continuous improvements in service and cost. Providing senior management team with timely and insightful information on stockholding, efficiencies, and opportunities. Ordering of materials in line with projected sales volume. Formal tracking of supplier service levels, hi-lighting any quality issues and ensuring a system is in place to re-charge costs. Project usage of materials and provide forward forecasts to suppliers on regular basis. Ensure continuous supply of all products to avoid out of stocks. MRP Purchasing Procurement Buying Logistics We are looking for a numerate and organised materials/supply chain specialist. While there is some responsibility for sourcing, the key will be organising all the company supplies at the right time and the correct quantity.
