Overview
Do you have a natural ability for problem solving and experience testing web applications? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Test Engineer to join an international IT company based locally who are expanding their team. My client is looking for a Test Engineer who has a strong knowledge of testing web applications and who has the ability to assist in the promotion of quality and performance improvement within the organisation. If you are natural problem solver with a can-do attitude and with an understanding of Oracle or MSSql databases, please get in touch today Benefits: Vibrant, relaxed work culture Free car parking Training and support Progression opportunities internally Responsibilities: To debug software products through systematic tests Prioritise work to meet deadlines Provide assistance, advice and support to other team members Develop, maintain and execute software test plans Develop, maintain and execute software regression test plans To assist in ongoing compilation and maintenance of acceptable quality guidelines for both software development quality and application performance To maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging software To analyse test results to ensure exiting functionality and recommend corrective action To feedback issues found by the customer into the regression test plan procedures To assist in establishing standards of service for customers To assist in monitoring of development performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports Skills required: Degree level candidate Knowledge of testing web applications Understanding of Oracle or Mssql databases Have a natural questioning ability Ability to prioritise and organise their workload Ability to learn and adapt to new industry standard teachings Ability to work unsupervised or part of a team If this exciting opportunity sounds of interest and you have the above skills and experience, please apply for this position today Randstad Business Support acts as an employment business when supplying temporary staff and as an employment agency when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
