IT Systems Infrastructure Engineer An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Systems Infrastructure Engineer to join an international IT company based locally. My client is looking for a proactive, motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing, successful team. Benefits: Vibrant, relaxed work culture Free, car parking Training Progression opportunities internally Responsibilities: Work alongside the Infrastructure Manager to deliver the Technical Plan and move the company forward Building and maintaining scalable, reliable and repeatable infrastructure Interfacing with multiple internal stakeholders including Development, Projects, Test and Support teams Interfacing with end users and external stakeholders to determine evolving needs Ensuring security and adherence to ISO 27001 security standards Flexibility to deal with out of hours issues on occasion Technical Skills required: Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Linux (at least one advanced level) Competent installing, configuring and maintaining services (Windows/Linux) Competent installing and managing web sever technology (Apache/IIS) Knowledge of the deployment of application server technologies (eg. Tomcat, JBoss) Strong knowledge of network design and implementation principles Advanced knowledge of communications device management and policies Experience of cloud platforms (Azure/ Amazon AWS) Experience with virtualisation tools (eg.
