Overview
Finance Director FMCG / Retail. Slough, Berkshire Wade Macdonald is working exclusively for an SME division of a global Retail organisation based in Slough. We are currently recruiting for a Finance Director / Business Partner. This is a really exciting position for an experienced FC looking to grow and develop with this exciting and well known Retail company. Responsibilities of Finance Director Supervise and develop sizeable finance function. Produce monthly management accounts. Successful maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations & P&L. Prepare journal entries. VAT returns. Liaise and report to board of directors / non-financials on a regular basis. The successful Finance Director will be a qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) accountant with previous experience working for a growing SME FMCG / Retail organisation. You will have excellent man management experience with the ability to manage non finance staff such as IT & HR. A back ground in working for a global parent company will be highly beneficial but not essential. As well as being technically strong in UK GAAP / IFRS you will also be commercial minded and have previous experience of business partnering to senior management. £75,000 - £90,000 plus car allowance plus benefits.
