An industry leading IT Financial house are currently recruiting for a BI Developer, to improve their ever expanding BI function and improve business insights to improve businesses finances. They have recently acquired a number of new offices across the UK and are looking to recruit specifically for their state of the art office in Central Oxford, Oxfordshire. The Company The potential BI Developer will have the chance to join one of the UK’s largest financial powerhouses and help in improving their business insights function. Their software is all focused around providing companies with forward thinking ideas to keep them above the trend in the market, to ensure they achieve sustainable growth and make data lead strategic decisions. The BI Developer role: The BI Developer role will be tasked with building a single reporting solution from a number of different financial, CRM and HR systems. By creating a single reporting solutions the aim is to creating a streamline and responsive service for clients. The BI Developer will need to have experience managing large data warehouses, along with large SSIS transactions and SSAS tabluar modules. Whilst helping the team build their PowerBI function, this will entail maintain current reports and developing and maintain new requests that come in, using PowerBI. Any potential BI Developer coming in will be asked to keep up with latest trends and asked to put forward ideas, to help streamline how the team work. Experience working in a customer orientated role would be beneficial given the type of role. Key Responsibilities for the BI Developer: Help grow their current PowerBI function Help the implementation of their new finance system Modernising their platform, using Azure to improve analytical capabilities Data Warehouse development and maintenance Essential skills for the BI Developer: Data Warehouse Development SSIS PowerBI & SSRS Develop and maintain OLAP / Tabular cubes (SSAS/MDX/DAX) Working on Data migration projects using Azure The role is paying up to £55,000 depending on experience, with initial interviews taking place from the week commencing the 23rd March.
