Work your hours in 3 shifts and the rest of the week is all yours I am seeking Support Workers to make a difference to the lives of residents in Holbeach where the residents are offered a supported living environment to aid with their moderate to complex learning difficulties. The service requires individuals who are conscientious and committed to delivering a high quality, person centred care approach. The service is a large bungalow that has been converted into a single self-contained flat plus a further two bedroom self-contained flat. The building has been completely refurbished to a very high standard and all the bedrooms have en-suite wet rooms plus communal areas. Set in rural Lincolnshire, the service benefits from large expanses of countryside and walking paths. This is coupled with easily accessible shopping environments, allowing individuals to access social situations positively and specifically based on their individual abilities and needs. The people the service supports are at the heart of everything the team do - the clients are wonderful individuals and deserve to be treated with respect, dignity and choice. The main priority, therefore, is to find support workers with values, behaviours and attitudes to match our own. Experience is not necessary as the company support their staff with excellent training opportunities. It is equally important for the group that you are approachable, caring and compassionate. These roles offer various shift patterns. This role does require working occasional weekends. Full time will be 42 hours per week. The role of a Support Worker will include: Delivering a high level of care and support for residents, ensuring their dignity and independence is maintained Providing support to residents to enable them to maximise their own potential and independence Assisting and encouraging residents to integrate into the community and become an active member Building strong working relationships with residents, their families/guardians and colleagues You will focus on ensuring the environment at night is safe and contributes to ensuring people are comfortable at night.
