SUPPORT WORKER HOLBEACH, LINCOLNSHIRE £18,127 PER ANNUM (£8.30 PER HOUR) 42 HOURS PER WEEK Ivy Recruitment is currently seeking Support Workers in Holbeach to work 3 long shift per week. The service is a supported living service for male adults aged 17 with autism spectrum conditions, moderate and severe learning difficulties and epilepsy. The service has been completely refurbished to provide 6 self-contained flats within a large building which has allowed for additional communal areas as well. All the flats have been finished to a high standard and the focus of the service is to encourage and develop individual skills. As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible – helping with personal care, supporting someone to rustle up some breakfast, do the weekly shop or visit a local café. We also support people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities – from dance to music making, swimming to going to concerts. About you Flexibility is needed as working times do vary and will include evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; you will be required to work 14 hour days from 7 am to 9 pm and every other weekend, they will provide you with your rota well in advance so you can plan your social life accordingly. Drivers preferred but not necessary.
