My client based in Chipping Norton is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join there small Finance team on a 9 months contract. There is no public transport therefore you will need to have your own transport. Client Details My clients offices are based in the stunning Oxfordshire countryside in Chipping Norton. They are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to carry out the role within the small finance team to ensure that all measures, targets and standards are achieved to the highest audit standard. As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for maintaining an efficient and accurate accounting function. You will ensure that transactions are accurately recorded and performance reported in a timely manner. You will report into the Financial Controller and be solely responsible for the Purchase Ledger function. There is no public transport therefore you will need to have your own transport. Salary range is 21,000 - 23,000 40 hours per week. However, they would also consider part time. This would be a minimum of 30 hours per week (salary pro-rota). Description Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities: Assist with log of purchase order numbers. Check all purchase invoices are received for pricing, as well as collating with delivery notes and purchase orders. Seek authorisation of purchase invoices. Enter all purchase invoices and credit notes on the system. Pay suppliers and generate integrated BACS and remittance advices. Resolve any queries. Maintain records of all purchase invoices. Provide cover for other accounting functions. Adhoc duties.
