Mechanical Fitter (Technician) £28,000 Overtime Call out (Realistic OTE £35,000) Holidays Pension Chelmsford, Essex Monday to Friday (DAYS) Mechanical Fitter required for a successful and independent manufacturer where you will join a close knit, skilled team. The company will close any skill gaps and offer generous overtime rates. The successful mechanical fitter can come from ANY manufacturing, servicing or light production backround. You will have experience of conveyors, gears, bearings and pneumatics. Any welding and fabrication experience is highly desired. Ex-forces candidates should apply. The role itself sits within a busy production facility, you will be responsible for the repair and installation of production machinery. At present the role is primarily reactive maintenance but the company are moving towards PPM work. As a mechanical fitter you will be working on pneumatic equipment, conveyors and bearings. You will also weld and fabricate when needed, training can be given on this. You will be part of an on call rota every 1 in 3 weeks. Overtime and weekend work is available to those who want to boost their earnings.
