Junior Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) Chelmsford £27,000 - £30,000 Overtime (OTE £35,000) 24 days Holiday Pension Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking to get into a Maintenance position for a company that have a track record of developing their staff long term? Do you want to work for a highly revered market leader on state of the art manufacturing machinery? With over 100 years in their industry, this company are renowned within their industry and well respected within the local area. With big plans over the next decade which will involve expanding their operation to a new site on the outskirts of the city, they are looking to add to their Engineering team and take on a Mechanically skilled engineer. This person will be based at a single site working a days based shift pattern with several other engineers. You will be working on a mixture of reactive and preventative maintenance as well as mechanical projects work. The company fosters a culture of trust and you will the opportunity to have a valid input into your team and the work you undertake. The role requires 1 week in 3 to be on call and you will be paid extra for each week. The person will come from a mechanical engineering background with fabrication experience. Candidates from transferable backgrounds, including military will be considered. You will be based locally to Chelmsford due to the nature of on call work.
