Overview
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant on the team you will be required to provide a professional fieldworker service to service users and their carers and you will manage the needs of adults with physical or sensory disabilities. Location: Fullham area, South West London As an Occupational Therapist Assistant you will: Be required to ensure that appropriate assessment of need is undertaken, and that care small equipment and minor adaptation and other services are organised, monitored and provided to meet the needs identified within the resources available and to promote independence, in accordance with current legislation, and with the policy and practice of the local authority. Have the responsibility for the issuing and monitoring of small equipment and minor adaptations to promote independence. Be expected to work in a multi-disciplinary way, in order to ensure the best co-ordination and efficient delivery of services to service users. It is essential that you are able to carry out Occupational Therapist assessments and recommend equipment and minor adaptations. We also require that you have Occupational Therapy Assistant experience within Social Services. We act as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
