Band 7 Lead Occupational Therapist - Maternity Cover The London Clinic is one of the UK's largest independently owned non-profit hospital, where we pride ourselves on our values, and putting the patient at the heart of everything we do. We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our Therapies Department for Maternity Cover. The London Clinic is one of the UK's largest independently owned non-profit hospital, and we have been providing exceptional care since 1932. We have 8 premises, where we perform highly complex procedures as well as routine surgery & medicine. The London Clinic's team of experienced and recognised therapists provide a wide range of treatments to patients who are staying at our hospital, and also to those who come to us for outpatient treatment. Job Profile: We require an experienced and motivated Band 7 Occupational Therapist with a proven interest in leadership, service development and clinical skills to cover maternity leave for 12 months. * Job Type: This is a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract, working 37.5 hours per week. * Salary: The salary is competitive for this role and will be dependent upon skills and experience. * Benefits package: We offer a comprehensive package which includes a contribution pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%), Private Medical Healthcare, 25 day's annual leave, season ticket travel loan, and a wide range of discounts with a variety of retailers and services. Duties & Responsibilities * To provide a high quality expert Occupational Therapy service across a range of specialist areas * To be operationally responsible for Band 6 Occupational Therapists providing leadership, supervision and performance management as required. * To work alongside the members of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) so as to implement care plans for patients with complex needs using evidence based/client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions. * To work autonomously and without direct supervision Skills & Experience * Successful candidates will be pro-active, flexible and diplomatic and form close working links with all members of the multi-disciplinary team. We treat a varied caseload of patients including those from overseas covering a wide range of specialist areas. * Degree in Occupational Therapy * HCPC registration The successful applicants will be joining a friendly and lively department that welcomes change and promotes excellence.
