Overview
Finance Assistant-Purchase Ledger clerk to join a long established engineering company in Milford Haven. They provide such a high level of service that it is hard to beat, either locally or nationally. Competitive Salary up to £20,000 per annum They are looking for a Finance Assistant-Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them for a new position which is rare opportunity as they have longevity of employment and very low staff turnover. What will you be doing; Preparation of BACS payments You will be processing high volumes of purchasing invoices Generate and manage customer invoices as well as reconciliations of supplier statements Investigate & resolve queries from both customers and suppliers You will be processing expenses and petty cash You will also support with general admin duties as they arise. About you; You will have experience of dealing with large volumes of work therefore have impeccable time-management skills You will be highly organised and able to remain calm at times of pressure You will possess excellent communication skills, both written & oral You will have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel and Office. Ideally you will have an understanding of SAGE and BACS experience with previous purchase ledger experience essential.
