Overview

A fantastic opportunity is available for a Business Support Administrator to join a professional Legal company in central Birmingham The successful candidate will work as part of the Business Support Services central team to provide the highest level of customer service and support to the firms Case Handlers across their sites, This includes answering client queries, adhering to all policies and procedures, file maintenance and file management, the opening and closing of matters, delivery and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, copying, scanning and completing general administrative duties as required whilst maintaining a steady workflow. Key responsibilities include: -Sorting Mail, filing, distribute, e-file and hard-file incoming mail for the fee earners. -Check, distribute and e-file incoming mail for the other fee earners. -Record all incoming/outgoing special mail, messenger and courier companies -Arrange all deliveries and collection times with mail, messenger and courier companies -Maintain equipment to a good working order and troubleshoot problems, place service calls when needed -Prioritise jobs and run them to meet customer requirements and deadlines -Maintaining a busy and constant workflow through verbal or email communication -Follow and comply with the firm's Best Practice way of working -To create new files by following the file opening procedure -To download and re-name the corresponding documents for relevant departments -To complete the file closing procedure for the other sites -Reception duties including delivering an exceptional meet and greet service to the client and their visitors -Answering the switchboard and directing calls to the correct person or departments -Providing hospitality refreshments for client meetings and events -Extensive computer and data related tasks To be considered for this role you must have worked within Business Support previously in professional services -Excellent attention to detail, ability to retain high levels of concentration -Good organisational skills / keeping track of data -Must be able to type to a proficient level and be computer literate -Excellent communication skills -Strong customer focus -Self-motivated & quick learning -Flexible & enthusiastic team member The company are offering a salary of £17,656 with Monday to Friday hours 9am till 17.15pm, great team environment and benefits scheme Please click below to apply
