Multi-Skilled Electrician Job, Temp to Perm opportunity. Joining a successful East London University. £19ph. Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias) to join the team at a leading UK University. Situated across a vibrant and distinguished campus in East London, the internationally acclaimed, research-driven University caters to around 15,000 students. The main focus of the Maintenance Engineer's job will be carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance, as well as minor works, conversions and refurbishments. Your new role Operating in a fully integrated campus across a vibrant and distinguished site, the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for provision of repairs, maintenance and general upkeep of the University, together with reactive works of alteration and upgrade. The role is electrically focused, with emphasis PPM's and reactive fault finding and repairs. What you'll need to succeed The right candidate must be 17th Edition, City and Guilds Level 3 certified (2391 Testing & Inspection highly desirable), with good previous experience of electrical-based roles. Experience of fault finding and resolution and BMS operation is also strongly encouraged. You will have a 'can-do' attitude and a desire to succeed in all you do. What you'll get in return This is a long term, temporary job, with the opportunity to go permanent. The role is Monday-Friday, minimum 8am-4pm, with ample opportunity to work overtime.
