Overview
An exceptional Senior Management vacancy has arisen in the North East for a small-medium sized independent care company. You will be an experienced Home Manager that knows a thing or two about CQC/CIW inspections and dealing with local authorities. You will ideally be a qualified nurse with a valid pin with previous nursing care of the elderly experience, although non-nurse managers will also be considered with the right skill set. You will be the face of the company with the CQC/CIW and be the go-to person for all their staff. You will have up to date knowledge of policies and procedures to help drive excellent practice throughout the company. You will be supporting some long-standing Home Managers in trying to make their homes 'Outstanding', working alongside them to improve the 5 key themes of the CQC inspection. If you are quality focused, can quickly identify areas to improve when walking around a nursing home and can work independently, spinning lots of plates at once, then this role will be right up your street. M0120RP Requirements for this position In order to be considered for this role you must have experience of managing nursing homes, you must have a keen eye for detail and have a good understanding of compliance and what the CQC and CIW look for when inspecting services. You will be supportive, flexible and ideally be a registered nurse, although non-nurses with the right experience will be considered.
