Overview
Materials Manager Opportunity for an experienced aerospace materials manager to join this leading engineering company. Utilising your knowledge, organisation skills and enthusiasm, you will be implementing strategic and operational improvements to support the ongoing success of the business. Encompassing aspects of stores, logistics and procurement, this role will ensure that your days are kept varied and interesting. Providing inspirational leadership, your tasks will include aspects such as: Evaluation and implementation of ERP / MRP system Optimisation of inventory levels Monitoring purchasing of materials, supplies and services Investigation of issues, report writing and creating resolution. Monitoring of price changes, identifying new suppliers Liaising with customers and other company departments Developing procedures and reporting systems KPI, LEAN and processes for continued improvement.
