Overview
Job Description
To support the General Manager/Clinical Services Manager in the day-to-day operational management of the Ophthalmology service. This will include: ensuring that outpatient clinics and theatre lists are fully utilised, full validation of waiting lists and other data is carried out regularly and medical rotas are co-ordinated and meet the needs of the service. To lead on individual projects and participate in service improvements, including providing analysis on data and information and liaising with other staff across the directorate and wider Trust. To line manage the rota co-ordinators, admission clerks and secretaries, ensuring that their workload is managed appropriately and completed to a high standard.
