Overview

The role as a Global Activation Director has the opportunity to work across all Kantar Divisions delivering positive change and impact. GIC offer four core areas of expertise across Kantar, to support operating brands and delivery functions to fulfil the commitment to deliver client solutions and internal projects Project Management - We deliver projects across Kantar using a defined methodology Solution Activation Management - We implement new research and business solutions across Kantar Global Account Management - We set up and deliver global client accounts across Kantar – from pitch to re-engineering existing accounts Change Management - We identify and formulate a framework for change which can be applied to specific business requirements to deliver lasting (self-managed) results KEY OUTCOMES An Activation Director within the Global Implementation Centre will work alongside the Director of GIC and the team, as well as the Kantar Innovation and Offer teams, IT and Global Accounts, to manage the end-to-end delivery in line with the business directive for Global Accounts, Solutions and Change initiatives. Activating a new project of any scale is always challenging, but the GIC is highly experienced in this area and can support both internal and client teams to set up efficiently and effectively. This role requires an individual who is able to partner with the account teams in order to bring strong programme management skills to the delivery. This role will be focussed on implementing these new and updated programmes in a timely and globally consistent manner while delivering efficiencies to the business. Working with Global Solutions and the innovations teams to determine priority concepts Working with Global Brands to understand the planned release schedules Working with regional operations leadership and solutions champions to ensure planned programs meet specific Work with Regional Operations Teams - Counsel the regional Operations Directors on activation timetable, likely resource needs and local implementation expectations Working with the markets - Manage local teams on activation of dynamic and rapid pilots and rollout Working with the central teams ( Kantar Innovation and Offer teams, IT and Global Accounts ) Work together with the Global Brands programme team to establish and activate planned launches according to board recommended timetable Capabilities This role will carry a high degree of autonomy and will require somebody comfortable guiding success among senior leadership across Kantar operating brands as well as our supplier partners. At least 2 years spent in Kantar or other major consumer research company working with global clients or solutions implementation Bachelor’s degree Project management exposure Excellent communication skills both oral and written Ability to lead and influence among senior stakeholders Keen to learn new skills Excellent numeracy skills Good attention to detail Be willing to roll up sleeves to get things done Well organised and methodical Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure, both as part of the team and on own initiative. Confident.
