Overview
Head Resourcing are currently looking for an IT Commercial Manager to join our client based in Edinburgh. After undergoing a large transformation project, this is a brand new role sitting within the IT & Change area of the business. As this is a brand-new position, it is quite a hybrid role and will involve the ideal candidate taking on a number of responsibilities. The overall outcome is to be a trusted commercial advisor and drive the commercial aspects of the business. Key responsibilities in this position vary between Contract Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Budget Management The ideal candidate will have a varied skillset and will have worked in multiple areas outlined, not just within one. As this is a position within the IT area of the business, a strong understanding and background in IT would be beneficial. The key skills required are: -Background in IT and Business, ideally within Financial Services or an Enterprise environment -Experience of defining and reporting on key KPIs to show commercial efficiency -Managing and negotiating key supplier contracts -Excellent stakeholder management of senior internal colleagues and third party providers In return for the above there is an excellent salary and benefits package (including bonus and working from home options).
