Upholstery Technician / Furniture Technician / Upholsterer £30,000 to £34,000 Package Inc. Bonuses, Overtime, Work Vehicle, Fuel Card and much more… We are currently recruiting for an experienced Upholsterer / Upholstery Technician / Furniture Restorer or Service Upholsterer on behalf of a national furniture repair & restoration specialist who operate on behalf of many well known furniture retailers and manufacturers across the UK. Benefits of the role include: £30,000 to £34,000 in your first year (Increasing thereafter) Earn additional overtime after 40 hours Weekend overtime available at higher rate (Optional) Company vehicle, fuel card, tools and expenses included Comprehensive training including Leather repair and color mixing courses A structured progression programme offering training opportunities including formal training qualification Pension scheme Life Insurance Cover Health Cash Plan Access to discounted gym membership Upholstery / Furniture Restorer Technician Key accountabilities: Travelling to various locations, working within customers homes to carry out professional upholstery and furniture repairs To ensure all repairs meet the required quality standard and are free from defect Manage your own workload to ensure the most efficient use of time and resources To represent the company in their customers homes and ensure the customer experience is a positive one Upholstery / Furniture Restorer Technician experience: Minimum of 5 years experience as an Upholsterer or Upholstery Technician Experience as a service technician would be desirable / Furniture Restoration Comprehensive knowledge of the industry, modern upholstery techniques and furniture restoration Good administration and organisational skills Ability to work on own initiative and to evaluate action needed to satisfy customers Excellent personal presentation A good standard of report writing Good IT skills
