Overview
Role: - Assistant Facilities Management Technician (Handyperson) - Southampton The Company You could become part of a service provider who are looking to add an Assistant Facilities Management Technician (Handyman) to their team in the Southampton area working as part of a team working on a well-known contract. The Position The position will involve supporting trades teams in minor works and maintenance requirements across the site. In addition, you will be responsible for: Undertake works as directed to support minor works projects and maintenance activities. Painting and decorating, Basic carpentry work, Basic plumbing work, Laying carpet tiles. Assisting all tradesmen Removing/building partition walls Furniture moves Minor building fabric repairs Showerhead cleaning/tap flushing (L8) PASMA/IPAF When required, undertake maintenance related works which may not be linked to the minor work projects. Experience of working in a maintenance or building work environment Experience of working in a highly regulated industrial environment Varied handyman experience Experience with a variety of trades and not afraid to get stuck into all tasks.
