NICE Public Safety is a software solutions provider specialising in helping public safety agencies round the globe. Our NICE Investigate solution has recently become a significant player in the modernisation of the British justice system by facilitating digital evidence management and sharing in a cloud service. We are recruiting for a Technical Product Owner to join our team in Southampton. You will be responsible for T transitioning the product strategy, vision and roadmap, into detailed requirements and a Committed Product Plan jointly with R&D, Documentation and UX teams. You will work closely and daily with R&D to execute the product plan. You will support Product Management and field enablement around the products and related business. You own the Product Plan, driven from the product roadmap, created by the Product Manager You create a prioritized backlog based on High Level product requirements You clearly describe product backlog items You ensure transparency into the upcoming work of the product development team You work Closely with Documentation You work Closely with UX expert to ensure product usability You support the Product Manager in development of user scenarios for technical users Your work closely with R&D to: * Explain the motivation and the customer needs behind a new requirement * Own and Groom (create and explain) the User stories * Be there daily for the team for any question & feedback * Understand and prioritize technical requirements You provide support to Customer Support, Professional Services, Technical Presales teams and Training where required * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science or Engineering, MBA - preferably * Ability to multitask and prioritize work * Ability to understand technical solutions * Ability to understand the big picture and translate it to detailed needs * Experience working in an agile delivery methodology organization * Communicating effectively at all levels, from executive management to individual contributor * Excellent English verbal and writing communication skills * Fast learner with ability to educate her/himself on relevant technologies * Ability to remain focused and calm under pressure * Ability to work successfully with clients and business partners directly - advantage * Great personal skills * Mange without authority characteristic NICE is committed to provide an environment based on equal opportunity for all qualified applicants and employees.
