This role is within the Accounts Payable Department in Finance. The role of the Accounts Payable Clerk sits within an Accounts Payable team of 8 people. Reporting to - Accounts Payable Team Leader - Stock Main responsibilities Scanning, coding and inputting invoices for stock Scanning of new supplier forms Dealing with internal and external queries via phone and email with a timely resolution Supplier statement reconciliations Opening, date stamping and distributing the post Assisting the Accounts Payable Team Leader and the rest of the team with any ad hoc Tools of the Trade… Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role Prior experience with an electronic PO matching (ideal not essential) Previous experience of Dynamics AX (ideal not essential) Previous experience of EXCEL including v-lookup (ideal not essential) Personal traits… Professional demeanour Friendly, lively personality Ability to communicate at all levels Attention to detail Able to meet deadlines Great team player Hardworking attitude Supporter of change
