Overview
Are you an Accounts Semi Senior with at least 2 to 3 years experience in a small or medium sized practice firm, currently studying the ACA exams (or looking to convert from ACCA to the ACA) and looking for your next challenge? Are you keen to work for an independent accountancy firm in Londons trendy West End where you can finish your ACA exams and be provided with full study support? Are you keen to work for a modern and forward thinking practice that specialises in working with interesting creative, media, entertainment, sport, film and TV clients? Are you keen to continue to learn, develop new skills and work in a firm where you can progress in the future? Reporting directly to the Director, your role will be varied and will include preparing statutory accounts from start to finish, corporation tax returns, some personal tax returns and reviewing VAT returns which are prepared by someone else. You will manage your own portfolio of clients and be the first point of contact for all clients. There will be a very large advisory element to your role as this firm likes to offer all its clients extra advice after they have carried out compliance work. You will work in a small and friendly team and very quick progression and increased responsibility will be offered to the right candidate. To be considered for this new role you must have at least 2 to 3 years of experience working in a general practice role in a small to medium sized practice firm. You will be studying for the ACA and be looking to continue with the ACA qualification, or be taking the ACCA and be looking to convert to the ACA. You must have experience of preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns and some personal tax would be beneficial. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including CCH would be an advantage. A strong interest in working in the West End and working with creative and media clients is desirable. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking for high levels of responsibility from day one.
