If you're looking for a fresh challenge with a business that continues to grow even at these difficult times, please get in touch In this Content Manager position, you'll be responsible for leading, developing and inspiring a team of seven as they deliver the build of content pages for the website for the UK and Ireland. Empowering these guys is priority number one and while you may not have a long history of leadership, you must be a person who takes satisfaction from improving others. You'll have a keen eye for figures and be able to analyse data from third parties you'll manage and on that be an excellent relationship builder both internally and externally as you oversee the merchandising of product areas and personalisation projects. SALARY: £50,000-£60,000 LOCATION: Near Tamworth Main responsibilities: - Delivering content for new on sales, seasonal launches, marketing campaigns, and functional/informational content to increase customer visits and optimization - Personalised content strategy to drive click through and increased propensity to buy - Merchandising - Managing third-party owned services - Develop and deliver strategies to maximise margin/sales targets - Strong partnerships with cross departmental teams and external agencies - Build a commercial trading culture within the team: developing reporting KPIs, dashboards and performance targets - Review roles and responsibilities and put the required processes in place to increase efficiency and productivity - Work cross functionally across the business to deliver change management where required - Work with wider management team to build eCommerce culture and maximise engagement Person profile: - Demonstrable track record of delivering a number of initiatives on time and budget, and to scope - Strong change management skills - Self-motivated and adaptable - Strong leadership skills - Educated to 2:1 degree level, or the equivalent - Flexible and adaptable to ever changing circumstances - Experience with driving sales and identifying levers to fluctuate sales at the right time is desirable - Experience in personalisation and customer behaviour online is desirable This role will suit someone with previous eCommerce experience but could also suit someone who wants to move into the area.
