Overview
A market leading eCommerce retailer is looking to appoint an Supply Chain Manager to their growing Supply Chain team head office team focusing on delivering eCommerce strategy. You will be responsible for optimising current supply chains and working on strategic projects that will help drive their online offer Key responsibilities: - Lead and develop online / eCommerce supply chain team - Develop and maintain working relationships with external partners. - Running strategic projects such as UK operational programmes or coordinating a process improvement project - Play the key role with supply chain related queries if support teams cannot assist suppliers - Work alongside category functions to contribute to overall strategies and play a part in supplier negotiations - Work cross functionally across all areas taking the lead on supply chain development - Manage supplier operational performance and strategy Key skills and attributes: - Bachelor’s degree - Proven experience in supply chain, inventory, operations or project management within an eCommerce environment. - Comfortable working in a dynamic fast paced environment - Project and people experience. - Experience of managing budgets and driving cost savings
