Overview

Our client is a leading provider of self-invested pension products in the UK. They currently manage £12bn AUM and aim to deliver the best SIPP and SSAS products in the market, from the simple and straightforward to the more complex and bespoke. Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Credit Controller will play a key role in maintaining the recoverability of debtors, principally the trade debtors. They will assist with maintaining the company’s individual debtor ledgers by assessing, reconciling and categorising existing debts and taking action over aged debtors to ensure collection. Responsibilities will include: Chasing customers for outstanding charges and the collection of late payments. Monitoring customer payment performance. Raise fee invoices proactively and in accordance with the product fee schedules. Deal with general day to day administration of the company’s debtors ledgers. Assist in preparation of management information and reporting requirements. Reconcile and report on debtors on a frequent basis identifying any debts that have aged. Escalating issues and complaints in a timely manner. Completing administrative tasks as necessary. Skills and experience required: Previous credit control experience. Experience of pension administration would be beneficial. Proficient in the use of Excel for the management of fee debt data. Adept at manipulating data for the purposes of MI and to service fee debt collection processes. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload. Attention to detail, accurate and thorough. Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
