Overview
Our Client, a long established Supplier with the Food and Retail Chain, are looking for an Experienced Quality Manager to join their site in East London. Someone with a hands on approach, strong leadership skills and the ability to work within a factory and production environment. Monday - Friday, 9am-5:30pm Salary is dependant on experience Duties will include: Overall management of the day to day running of the site quality team Responsible for leading BRC, 3rd party and retailer audits Managing the site's Quality management system, reviewing and amending procedures to ensure a working, live system Training staff to site quality standards Work alongside Production management to drive change and understanding of quality and retail demands Management and completion of customer specifications Working knowledge of UK retail systems Responsibility for the site hygiene management Collaborate with suppliers, driving continuous improvement through regular review and risk assessment Essential Experience: Degree or equivalent Working knowledge of quality systems: BRC, TACCP, VACCP, HACCP, RSPO Minimum HACCP level qualification Experience of Supplier Audits Experience of major retailers and demands Proficient with web based systems and retailer specification systems If you have the required experience and are interested in this role, please submit your CV, successful candidates will be contacted within a few days.
