Your new role To lead on, manage and maintain systems in respect of the development and effective implementation of the Borough Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), Mayoral CIL and Planning Obligations (Section 106 agreements - S106s). To manage the collection and subsequent distribution of related financial developer contributions (circa £30m) arising from both CIL and S106s, in order to support the delivery of the community infrastructure priorities and projects in the Borough. To lead in the management of joint financial and non financial systems for the administration, collection, monitoring and reporting of both Borough and Mayoral CIL revenue and S106 financial and non-financial obligations. What you'll need to succeed Degree in planning, regeneration, finance, accounting, business administration or a related discipline and substantial relevant experience. You will have to have a membership with RICS and RTPI. Comprehensive demonstrable knowledge and understanding of CIL, S106 and infrastructure planning legislation, statutory guidance and case law. Awareness of current issues and planning policy relevant to CIL/S106 and infrastructure planning. Sound understanding of project development, management and delivery including experience of managing contracts and projects to deliver effective commissioned outcomes.
